Robert Guy is an experienced financial planning professional that specializes in all areas of financial planning, estate planning and asset management. For more than twenty five years, Robert has remained focused on helping his clients—he is an avid educator and advocate for families preparing for and living in retirement. He has dedicated his career to providing unbiased advice and sophisticated strategies to people who want to enjoy retirement to the fullest.
Robert holds his Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities registrations through LPL Financial and is licensed through the state of Massachusetts for life, health, and disability insurance. In addition, he has also earned his Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation. Robert began his career with American Express Financial Advisors in 1988 after graduating from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Feeling that he could better serve his clients as an independent fee-based financial advisor, Robert established his own firm in 1992. Rob has devoted his 25+ years to help hundreds of Boston area families to create and live the retirement of their dreams. He offers a sophisticated, strategic, step-by-step process to develop comprehensive financial plans for his clients that often include distribution plans for retirement, hands-on investment management strategies, tax planning, business analysis, as well as estate and risk management strategies. Robert’s mission is to empower his clients through education and insight to be proactive and make informed decisions with their hard earned retirement dollars.
Robert has aligned his practice with Householder Group, an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm, because they share his dedication to the same goals and objectives he believes are necessary to achieve successful outcomes for his clients. In addition, Robert is able to leverage the availability of Householder Group’s sophisticated investment strategies that enable him to focus on capital preservation and multi-generational wealth management for his clients. Ultimately, Robert wants all of his clients to have confidence in their ability to enjoy a long and comfortable retirement, with no reduction in lifestyle and no fear of running out of money.
